Dr Simon Goodison
Firstly, thank-you for visiting the website of Ivanhoe Dental, a practice that is focused on providing quality dental treatment in a caring environment. Dr Simon Goodison established Ivanhoe Dental in 2004, and has been dedicated to providing outstanding dental treatment ever since. Simon is passionate about dentistry, and to staying at the forefront of what dentistry can offer. Graduating from Melbourne University in 1993, he has constantly undertaken further education, and his special interests include full smile makeovers and complex endodontic treatment.
His motto at Ivanhoe Dental....."Great Teeth For Life....".
Beyond dentistry, Simon's main focus is his young family. His other interests involve various sporting activities, including canoeing, tennis and cycling. He is a keen AFL Collingwood supporter.
Simon is also an active member of the community, having being involved in the local rotary club, partaking in numerous community fundraising exercises, doing kinder and school dental talks to children, and coaching and managing several local basketball and football teams. Simon also volunteers in managing and training Nipper's in Surf Lifesaving Victoria's annual programs.
Dr Mary Ann Liu
Dr Mary Ann graduated from La Trobe University and received awards for outstanding academic achievement including the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Academic Prize and The Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch Latrobe Dental School Final Year Prize.
Mary Ann has a caring and gentle approach and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She has a particular interest in preventative care and aesthetic restorative dentistry (veneers, crowns and bridges).
Mary Ann is a member of the Australian Dental Association and she keeps up to date with new developments and modern dentistry techniques.
She is a certified Invisalign clear aligner provider and also has further training in Botox and cosmetic fillers.
Outside of work, she has volunteered for community dental programs and oral health promotion in preschools. She has also been a supervisor for dental students in the preclinical simulation lab at Latrobe University.
In her spare time, Mary Ann enjoys watercolour painting, playing tennis and learning the game of golf.
Aran Kaur
Aran is our Dental Hygienist who graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2019.
Aran wants her patients to feel happy and confident after their dental visits. She believes in creating a positive environment that allows everyone to have their dream smile.
Aran aims to create home care regimes specifically tailored for each of her patients to help them maintain optimal oral health and gum health.
Out of work, Aran enjoys spending time with her family, shopping and travelling.
